Abstract
:
The aim of this paper is to find out the environmental awarness of women in rural area. The sample consisted of 100 women from Senganoor village, Nannilam taluk, at thiruvarur District in Tamil Nadu. The data were collected using appropriate tool and it was constructed and validated by the investigator. One of major findings of the study shows that the mean score of environmental awareness of educated women is higher than uneducated women.
