Abstract : Education is the process of bringing desirable changes in the behavior of human beings. Education is indispensable for the well being and survival of mankind. Cognitive styles are relate to mental behaviors which individuals apply habitually when they are solving problems in general, they affect the way in which information is obtained sorted and utilized. Cognitive style is usually described as stable and persistent personality dimension which influences attitudes, values and interaction. Cognitive style refers to a recurring pattern of perceptual and intellectual activity. If a pupil has a cognitive style that is similar to that of his teacher, the chances that the pupil will have a more positive learning experience will be improved. Likewise team members with similar cognitive styles feel more positive about their participation in the team. In the present study the investigators study about the cognitive style of student teachers at secondary level.
