Abstract
:
The excellence of the teachers mainly depends upon his competency towards teaching. To acquire professional excellence a teacher should have emotional intelligence so as to manage and understand his own as well as others emotions. So the study was purposed to find the relationship between the emotional intelligence and professional excellence among teachers towards teaching. Emotional intelligence scale developed by Anukool Hyde, and self constructed Professional excellence scale were used to collect the data. Random sampling method was used to collect the data. The findings reveal that there exists a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and professional excellence among the teacher educators.
