Abstract : This paper investigates the effect of picture-based activity in learning subject-verb agreement. In this study, the students are provided with picture matching activity. The students are directed to match the pictures that are related to the text that they are reading. This activity invokes the readers to employ various grammar aspects of the subject-verb agreement. Thus, it is reported through this study that regular practicing of this activity would improve the students
