Abstract
:
Achievement in School or college in a standardized series of educational test. Academic achievement refers to the general term for the successful attainments of some goal requiring ascertain effort. It is the degree of success in a task. School achievement score as the best predictive of future success of the students. The present study has been done so as to study the Academic achievement of the higher secondary students. Random sampling technique has been used in the selection of the sample of as many as 408 higher secondary students and the tool Annual test marks of the SSLC has been collected by the author and computed according to the objectives framed. The findings of the study revealed that majority of the higher secondary students show average level of Academic achievement and the same trend has been seen in respect of the sub-samples, too.
