Abstract : The present study was aimed at comparing general educators and special educators on grounds of emotional intelligence, occupational self efficacy and occupational stress. The sample consisted of 37 general educators and 41 special educators employed at different schools of Kolkata. Three standardized tools, namely, Schutte Self Report Emotional Intelligence Test, Occupational Self Efficacy Scale and Occupational Stress Index along with the General Information Schedule were administered on the subjects.
