Abstract
:
The present research compared the attitude towards women empowerment and self -esteem between male and female undergraduate students. The sample of the study comprised of 1000 male and female undergraduate students. The sample were selected randomly from the undergraduate students in Cuddalore of Tamilnadu. Attitude towards women empowerment scale (ATWES) constructed and validated by the investigator (2018) and Self-esteem scale (SES) by Santosh Dhar and Upinder Dhar were used to collect the data. The finding of the study revealed that there was significant difference in the attitude towards women empowerment of male and female undergraduate students. There was no significant difference in the self-esteem of male and female undergraduate students.
