Abstract : The present study explored the career and family values among female university students in relation to certain personal variables. A stratified random sample of 300 female university students of Punjabi University, Patiala pursuing science, arts and professional stream was selected for the conduct of the present study. Career and family values scale was used to collect data. The results of t-test revealed significant differences in career and family values of female university students across stream of study, residential background and academic achievement. The results of the study have implications for parents, career counselors and public at large.
