Abstract : In this study, investigator tried to unveil the possibilities of Jigsaw II Cooperative learning strategy by comparing it with traditional method of teaching Biology. Findings of the experiment revealed that this instructional strategy has favourable effects on student achievement. Jigsaw II offers a platform as well as teaching learning strategy to bring a desirable reform in the present day teaching learning system adopted in our traditional classroom settings. It is aimed at providing more responsibilities on the part of learners.
