Instructions for Authors

Submit your manuscripts with covering letter as e-mail attachment in Microsoft Word (.doc) to the Editorial Office at: chiefeditor@jceri.com. A manuscript number will be mailed to the corresponding author same day or within 72 hours.

Guidelines to Authors

The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and Educational excellence. Papers will be considered for immediate publication.

Electronic submission of manuscripts is strongly encouraged, provided that the text, tables, and figures are included in a single Microsoft Word file (in Times New Roman font).

If you are unable to send a submission through the web site (www.jceri.com) your copies by mail to chiefeditor@jceri.com. Include complete sets of tables and figures. Your cover letter may include the names (with co-authors), institutional affiliations (including telephone numbers, if available), and email addresses. All papers, solicited and unsolicited, will be first assessed by a Reviewing Editor. Papers found any plagiarism / unsuitable in terms of the overall requirements of the journal will not be accepted and this will be intimated to the author through mail. Hard copies / CDs will not be returned to the authors.

Submission of an article implies that it has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; and further, that if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere.

Publication Fee

If the paper is accepted for publication, Author will be asked to pay Rs.500/= as article publication fee in order to defray the operating costs. For Hard copy Author will be entitled to one copy of the printed journal with Rs.300/= of charge. Co-authors should also pay Rs.500/= as article publication fee. (For Foreign Authors $20).

Preferred mode of Payment is to pay via - DD / Net Banking / Cash Deposit. Payment procedure will be notified to the author through e-mail after the successful review process.

Manuscript Preparation

The manuscript must be typed double-spaced and all pages numbered starting from the title page.

Title page

A title page is to be provided and should include a) the title of the article, b ) author’s name (no degrees) c) author’s affiliation

The affiliation should comprise

i) the department, b) institution (usually university or college), ii) city and iii) state (or nation) and should be typed as a footnote to the author’s name, referred to by superscript lower case letters. For office purposes, the title page should include the complete mailing address, telephone number fax number and e-mail address of the one author designated to review proofs.

Abstract

Abstract should be informative and limited to 200 words, which  convey the main points of the paper, methods, sample, outline the results, findings, conclusions, and explain the significance of the results.

Manuscript

The manuscript should be in the order given below and should not exceed 3000 words in Times New Roman 12 font sized with double spaced

· Introduction

· Review of related literature

· Objectives

· Hypotheses

· Methodology

· Analysis and interpretation of data

· Statistical analysis

· Results and Discussion

Tables

Tables should be kept to a minimum and be designed to be as simple as possible. Tables are to be typed double-spaced throughout, including headings and footnotes. Each table should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and supplied with a heading and a legend. Tables should be self-explanatory without reference to the text. The same data should not be presented in both table and graph form or repeated in the text.

References

References should be listed at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy of the references.
