Abstract
:
A survey was conducted to assess the scientific aptitude of high school students in Thanjavur district. Three hundred IX standard students were taken as a sample in random sampling technique. The tool was constructed and validated by the Dr.Nagappa P.Shahapur and Dr.C.R.Rao. The tool consists of 80 items which related to science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with multiple choices. The right response will be given one mark. The result revealed that the level of Scientific Aptitude of high school students is average. Urban high school students have high scientific aptitude than the rural high school students.
