Abstract : This study tried to find out whether there is any significant difference in the learning environment and its dimensions of orphan-students between gender, class, age and duration of stay in the orphanage. 358 secondary level school orphan students (IX and X standards) from government and private orphanages are selected for the study. Orphanage Learning Environment Tool constructed and validated by the researcher. There is a significant difference between gender and class of orphan students in the overall learning environment. There is no significant difference between age and duration of stay in the orphanage of orphan students in the overall learning environment.
