Abstract : Mentoring is a new buzz word which has gradually crept into the high-flow pedagogical parlance; yet the scant literature available makes it difficult for those involved in English language teaching to grasp the true underlying meaning. The present study aimed to investigate Mentoring in Learning English Grammar at standard VI. Effective mentoring in English is considered paramount to a student’s development on learning English grammar. The study is confined to 32 students of standard VI studying in .(32 students in control group+32 students in Experimental group) from Government Higher secondary school, Indore(MP). Researcher’s self-made achievement test was used as instrumentation for the study. Equivalent group Experimental method was adopted in the study. It establishes that conventional method of teaching is not effective in learning English Grammar at standard VI.
