Abstract
:
This study examined the achievement motivation of higher secondary students in Vellore District. The tools used for the present study are Achievement Motivation scale by Prathibha Deo and Asha Mohan (1985). In the present study, the investigator followed normative survey method. The sample selected for the present study is 400 students from Vellore District of Tamilnadu. Random sampling technique was used for the selection of sample. The mean value of achievement motivation scores 163.59 (20.36) indicates that the higher secondary students are having average achievement motivation.
