Abstract : The relevance of the female teacher role extends beyond the classroom and into society. It is her duty to acquire and transmit information and skills from the current generation to the next. By doing this, the female teacher ensures both human life and existence. Being a teacher, she imparts knowledge, including wisdom, moral principles, and ethical standards. Teachers working in primary schools are not happy with their job and gradually they are developing burnout tendencies. Personality needs, organisational structure of schools and their attitude towards teaching as career are also the most important factors related to the burnout tendency of female primary school teachers. The present research aims to find out the best predictors for burnout tendency of female burnout teachers of primary schools. For this research, survey method was adopted. A sample of 456 primary school female teachers was selected from the six districts of the Varanasi region of Uttar Pradesh. Coefficient of multiple correlation is used to analyse the data. The findings of the study `revealed that out of 13 independent variables the seven independent variables need of dominance, attitude towards teaching as a career, need of nurturance, physical structure, and human structure, need of achievement and need of Succorance, in order of importance are significantly related to the prediction of burnout of female primary school teachers.
