Abstract : This study made an attempt to study self-esteem, test anxiety and sports in students of two different streams (management and arts). The study used a sample of 80 students, 40 each in management and arts, further divided into subgroups based on participation in sports and gender. ble taken into consideration is the involvement of students, or lack of it in sports. The Test Attitude Inventory (TAI) by Charles D. Spielberger and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale by Morris Rosenberg were used to measure variables. A difference was found in self-esteem levels of the students across streams. While the Arts students had a higher self-esteem, their involvement in sports or the lack of it did not seem to have an effect on their self-esteem. The study also found that the there were no gender differences in levels of test anxiety or self-esteem. The study found that there are no differences in levels of test anxiety in students belonging to both streams. Their involvement in sports showed a very negligible difference.
